I believe in the value of building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship to tap into your internal strength, self-expertise, and self-expression to promote growth and support healing. I work from a Person-Centered foundation utilizing approaches and interventions such as Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and others to meet the needs of each individual client.
Expressive Arts Therapy (the use of music, visual arts, writing, and other arts in therapy) is a powerful tool which can support growth and increasing awareness in conjunction with talk therapy interventions. I have a personal background as a musician, with a passion for song-writing and exploring sound.
I also work from a trauma-informed perspective, with training and clinical experience to approach therapy through the lens of the complex influence trauma can have on all aspects of our lives. I strongly value diversity and utilize a multicultural perspective in support of social equality.
